<히든 유토피아>는 다다르다팀이 진행하는 퍼포먼스형 체험 워크숍이다. 이 퍼포먼스는 흡사 벙커의 공간과 닮아있는 연희동 레이저 안 세 개의 각각 독립된 공간에서 행해진다. 

이 퍼포먼스에 참여하는 관객은 진행자의 지시에 따라 세 개의 공간에 차례대로 들어간 뒤 오디오북을 통해 나레이션을 들을 수 있다. 이내 물리적 공간이 아닌 몸_놀이_상상력을 통해 개인의 기억을 발견하고 일상적 공간 속에서 자신만의 비밀 벙커를 만들어 볼 것을 제안한다. 그 시작은 체조의 형식을 차용하여 제한된 상황에서 공동의 몸의 움직임을, 그리고 정해진 룰에 따라 생존하는 게임을 함께 한다. 이 모든 퍼포먼스가 끝난 뒤, 마지막 공간에서는 스스로의 변증법적 사고를 거쳐 각자의 유토피아를 상상해본다.

이 워크숍의 여정은 지하 공간, 빛과 공기의 유입이 제한되어 규정되지 않은 존재와 관념을 환기하여 ‘초공간’으로써의 벙커를 정면으로 마주하게 한다. 또한 군사적 목적의 벙커가 가지는 유의미성이 아닌보이지 않는 각자의 비밀 기지에 대해 깊은 사유의 시간을 갖게 한다.

<Hidden Utopia> is a performance-based workshop conducted by DDRD [Dadarda]. 

This performance is done in each of the three independent zones of Yonhei-dong Laser, which resembles the space of a bunker.

Audiences participating in this performance can enter three separate spaces in turn and listen to recorded instructions. I suggest that you find your personal memory through your body_play_imagination—not physical space—, and make your own secret bunker in everyday space.

The workshop starts with physical exercise. Using the form of Kukmin Chejo(National Exercise), audiences can experience the movement of the body in a limited situation. Followed by it, according to the prescribed rules, participants play a simple simulation game together. After all these performances, people have time to imagine their own utopias through dialectical thinking in the last room.

The journey of this workshop makes people confront bunkers as “super-space” by venturing underground space, limitation of light and air inflows, unspecified existence and ideas. It also offers time to the participants to think over the invisible secret base of individuals, rather than the significance of bunker as military facility.
